Colonial Group in Allentown, PA is seeking a Transportation Dispatch Clerk to schedule drivers, plan routes and track daily operations. You will handle gate in/out, logs, dispatch windows and driver communications to resolve issues.

You will monitor driver locations, update dispatch sheets, coordinate backhauls, and ensure accurate documentation in the system while supporting leadership and compliance with DOT guidelines.

Formación

• Preferred transportation experience and DOT knowledge.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related software.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and operate facility equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule drivers for daily routes and plan pre-determined routes.
• Dispatch window functions: gate in/out, logs, and paperwork verification.
• Monitor driver locations and communicate delays to leadership.
• Update dispatch sheets and driver tracking daily.
• Coordinate backhauls and maintain route/PO changes.
• Cross-reference YMS, Samsara and driver data for accuracy.
• Prepare daily tracking reports and provide shift summaries to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
