Job summary

Consor Engineers in Draper, Utah seeks an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Transportation Planning & Design Group. You will support the design and delivery of roadway projects for local, county, and state agencies, including UDOT projects, gaining hands-on experience in geometric design and preparations.

This hybrid, office-and-field role offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and exposure to a variety of project types as we expand our transportation design practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years civil engineering experience, preferably in transportation or roadway design.
• Proficiency with ORD, MicroStation, Civil 3D or AutoCAD; ORD training available if needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an EIT certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing typical sections, horizontal & vertical alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Support design documentation, plan sets, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Monitor design work for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop cost estimates.

Skills

2+ years civil engineering experience
