Job summary

Consor is seeking a Traffic Engineering Designer (EIT) to contribute to planning, analysis, and design of transportation infrastructure. You will work under licensed engineers and manage signaling, signing and ITS tasks, with hands-on experience across project development from concept to final design.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, client engagement, and delivering constructible solutions that enhance mobility and the traveling public's experience.

Qualifications

• Engineer in Training certification is required.
• 2+ years of directly related experience in traffic design.
• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a transportation emphasis.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation or Civil 3D and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of traffic design plans and estimates for transportation projects.
• Develop traffic engineering systems including signals, signing, and ITS.
• Perform advanced analyses related to traffic operations and safety.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions and schedules.
• Provide technical leadership and quality oversight for junior staff.
• Support corridor and multimodal studies with actionable design ideas.
