Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward embedded within the Transportation Business Group. This leadership role focuses on defining how data is captured, defined, and reused to enable better decisions across projects and disciplines.

You will coordinate subject-matter experts and technical authorities to establish data standards and governance. The role is office-based in the United States, reporting to the Transportation Technology Director, with responsibilities spanning data terminology,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership and change-management experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and data stewards.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate data standards across the Transportation Business Group.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions to support models, reporting, and AI use cases.
• Promote governance of data quality, access, and provenance.
• Lead change-management efforts to drive adoption of data standards and practices.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Operations and Data Science teams to enable trusted data reuse.
