Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to define how data is defined, shared, and reused across HDR's Transportation Business Group. This leadership role coordinates SME experts and technical authorities to enable better decisions and data reuse across projects.

Embedded in the Transportation BG, this role is not IT or compliance; it focuses on enabling use of transportation data, aligning workflows, and driving adoption of data standards, practices, and tools across HDR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Resources engineering industry.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.
• Committed to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate a network of SME expertise across the Transportation Business Group to define technical standards.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key engineering and technical terms.
• Promote data fluency across the Transportation Business Group.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools across the Transportation BG.
• Regularly communicate with other Data Stewards and Enterprise Data teams.
