Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to define how data is captured, defined, governed, and reused across the Transportation Business Group. This in-office role is embedded in HDR's Transportation BG and will empower teams to deliver clearer data-driven decisions.

As a leader, you will coordinate SMEs, align data workflows with strategy, and drive adoption of data standards and tools across projects and time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Resources engineering industry.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.
• Committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards and coordinate SME expertise across the Transportation Business Group.
• Develop and maintain data definitions supporting structured data models and AI use cases.
• Promote data fluency and governance across teams and senior leadership.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards and tools.
• Collaborate with the Technology Director to align data workflows with strategy.
• Ensure data practices support efficient project delivery and analytics.
