Job summary

Quality Carriers, Inc. in Rahway, NJ is recruiting a Transportation Customer Service Representative to manage a dedicated customer group and optimize freight acceptance decisions to maximize revenue.

This on-site, full-time role requires strong MS Office skills and experience with transportation software (EDI and TMW). You will coordinate with planners, drivers and terminals, track loads, and ensure accurate data entry and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with transportation software including EDI and TMW.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to work as a team.
• Experience in the transportation industry; bulk chemical preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from customers and enter them into the TMW Order Management System.
• Solicit Freight from customers for available capacity in area of responsibility.
• Coordinate changes to loading/delivery times with customers and update TMW.
• Work with Planners, Drivers and terminal staff to meet requirements.
• Track loads in TMW/Trip alerts and address service concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to secure locations, codes and credit approvals.
• Ensure data entry accuracy for handoff to terminal billers.
• Document service issues in the NCR system.
