Job summary

Quality Carriers, Inc. is seeking a Driver Operations Specialist in Rahway, NJ to be the primary day-to-day contact for a group of up to 30 drivers. The role requires on-call scheduling and involves dispatching, load planning and customer service to ensure high on-time performance.

Key duties include managing driver time-off, safety compliance, and coordination with Operations, Scheduling and Safety to maintain service levels and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with DOT Requirements, CSA expectations and Safety procedures.
• Ability to travel multiple times per year for training and career development purposes.
• Highly proficient computer skills. Must be comfortable using a computer and various software programs.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching, load planning and customer service for drivers.
• Manage driver compensation and time at home requirements.
• Discuss safety, compliance and service issues with drivers; facilitate documentation.
• Review performance bonus results with drivers; provide feedback to maximize earnings.
• Coordinate driver utilization with scheduling and planning teams to maximize earnings while ensuring service expectations.
