Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Transportation Coordinator in the Los Angeles area to plan, organize, and coordinate daily transport for PACE participants.

You will collaborate with clerks, dispatchers, and drivers to schedule services and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1+ year in program coordination, health care/geriatrics experience, and BLS certification; bilingual ability (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese) is preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.
• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA or Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants.
• Works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling transportation needs.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinatorplans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.

• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.

• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.

• Electronic Health Records preferred.

• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.

• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
