AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Transportation Coordinator to plan and coordinate daily transportation for PACE participants.

You will collaborate with the transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule services efficiently in our Los Angeles area program. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year coordinating a program, and healthcare experience; bilingual ability is preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of coordinating a program experience.
• Experience in health care and/or geriatrics setting preferred.
• Electronic Health Records experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services for AltaMed PACE participants.
• Works closely with transportation clerk, dispatcher and driver to schedule needs.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.
• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
