HDR, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee contract administration and risk management within the Transportation Business Group. You will lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with contract requirements on complex programs.

Your responsibilities include drafting and administering subcontracts, managing change orders, and tracking cost models. You will monitor performance, support audits, and provide timely reporting while traveling up to 50% to support

Qualifications

• Experience administering contracts and subcontracts on architecture/engineering or construction projects.
• Ability to implement change management procedures across a project lifecycle.
• Proven ability to monitor compliance and track deliverables and schedules.
• Experience with project risk registers and claims resolution is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with stakeholders.

• Manages or collaborates with a project team including schedulers, analysts, and contract staff.
• Implements contract management procedures in line with company policy.
• Administers ongoing contracts and ensures conformance to contract documents.
• Drafts subcontracts and oversees performance of prime contracts and subs.
• Reviews warranties, insurances, and guarantees for compliance.
• Supports project controls with change orders and schedule impacts.
• Prepares reports and maintains records of contractual matters.
