Qualifications

• One year as an Engineering Technician or two years as a Transportation Technician or three years in highway/bridge work.
• Experience in quality control of materials or construction with blueprints/plans.
• One year of construction inspection with related engineering degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect asphalt, concrete and aggregate materials to meet specs and plans.
• Observe tests and confirm accuracy of procedures and results.
• Record sampling methods and testing results in required systems.
• Check supplier compliance and support annual inspections.
• Verify calibration of equipment used by staff and vendors.
• Assist with core drilling, material reviews and sampling at job sites.
