Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Supervise inspection staff and guide sampling, testing, and field techniques.
• Verify grades, review structure stakeouts, and monitor placement of materials.
• Interpret design plans and assist with resolving field issues and discrepancies.
• Compile reports, prepare work orders, and track certification of project materials.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and internal staff regarding project updates and needs.

Education

Associate's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying engineering technology, or closely related engineering technology
