This position is based in Pittsburgh and involves working on PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike assignments. Note: This role is not eligible for employer sponsorship except for TN visas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify levels, alignments, and elevations of structures and pavements.
• Maintain record documents and make field notes and computations.

Non-essential Functions

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong computer proficiency.
• Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening).
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-4 years of construction inspection experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Client-requested certifications.
