CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm, is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors for projects around the Greater Pittsburgh area for the upcoming 2025 Construction season.
The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others regarding plans, specifications, materials, equipment, methods, practices, and safety precautions involved in construction and installation work. The TCIS prepares daily progress reports, maintains progress schedules, checks shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations, keeps records of quantities and costs of materials used, and prepares contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payments. The TCIS may supervise a staff of inspectors.
High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education, with the ability to read, write, communicate effectively in English, and perform basic math computations related to length, area, and volume.
