Qualifications

• Six years civil engineering experience or five years with ITE certificate plus an associate degree.
• Two years of professional civil engineering with a bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Railroad coordination to support reviews and actions on projects.
• Oversee utility designation projects and lead teams; monitor progress.
• Inspect facilities to ensure plan compliance and resolve issues.
• Prepare data, attend hearings, and present the department’s position to the PUC.
• Supervise grade crossing safety program tasks and coordinate improvements.
• Lead engineering staff and conduct performance evaluations.
