Job summary

Pennoni in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead transportation projects from our office. You will mentor engineers, manage complex tasks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while applying PennDOT design criteria and advanced Bentley OpenRoads workflows.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 12+ years of experience, and a PA PE license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related).
• 12+ years of civil engineering experience, transportation design preferred.
• Active PA PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Engineers & technical staff.
• Lead / manage complex engineering tasks and projects.
• Deliver scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability of all projects.
• Develop annual productivity and profitability goals for the Division.
• Monitor division performance and develop corrective action plans.
