Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Transportation Civil Engineer to design and deliver roadway projects for state agencies and large municipalities in New England. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on multimodal facilities, drainage, and utility coordination, with offices in Manchester, NH and other cities.

The role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities for professional growth through mentoring and continuing education, with a BS in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of roadway design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 4–8 years' roadway design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with MassDOT/NHDOT/MaineDOT guidelines.
• Proficiency in 3D roadway modeling and design software.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise on projects from conceptual to final design.
• Supporting design through construction phase services.
• Coordinating with architects, bridge, environmental, geotechnical, survey, and traffic teams.
• Assisting project managers in roadway design, utilities, and construction documents.
• Preparing detailed civil design plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
