Tompkins County is seeking a Fiscal Coordinator to manage fiscal and administrative support for a department or cross-department teams in Ithaca, NY. The role develops and maintains accounting systems and coordinates with the Department of Finance.

Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential for successful budgeting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree with several years of administrative/financial analysis experience, plus excellent communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years in high-level admin or budget/financial analysis
• Associate's degree plus 5 years in high-level admin or budget/financial analysis
• Combination of training and experience equal to these requirements

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a budget, grant monitoring, and analysis system
• Prepare detailed financial reports to monitor expenditures and revenues
• Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and related reports
• Oversee billing procedures and fee collection where applicable
• Supervise staff involved in revenue collection and coordinate with Finance and NYS partners
