Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking a Budget Analyst III/Transportation Analyst I at the Stassney Campus in Austin, TX. The role involves transportation programming, project scheduling, and federal funding preparation and analysis, with oversight of grants, approvals, monitoring, audits, and funding authorizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• 2 years experience in funding administration, planning, budgeting or working with state or federal funding.

Responsibilities

• Performs transportation programming, letting project scheduling, and federal funding preparation and analysis work.
• Oversees projects/grants/programs/lettings to include application, approval, monitoring, audits, investigations, and funding authorizing.
• Prepares and distributes letting, project funding, and reports; ensures data integrity and compliance with laws.
