Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Freight Brokerage / customer service.
• College degree highly desired or equivalent experience.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic.
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills; able to handle conflict.
• Excellent time-management skills with multitasking ability.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact new customers to drive acquisitions.
• Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippers.
• Qualify customers to identify and solve their problems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build relationships with carriers and negotiate pricing.
• Increase capacity for specific projects and lanes; expand office capacity.
• Perform daily check calls on loads in transit and manage freight documents.
