Job summary

Stord is seeking a Transportation Area Manager to lead a warehouse team within a fast-paced distribution operation. You will oversee sortation, dock management, and shipping, while coordinating with HR, safety, and customer service teams to achieve daily targets.

The role requires leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work overtime as needed. You will work with WMS and various material-handling equipment in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years' experience with automated sortation systems and WMS in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and ability to manage carriers and drivers.
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping departments.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency.
• Utilize workload planning tools to meet scheduled orders.
• Investigate discrepancies and maintain quality standards.
