Cardinal Health, a leading healthcare services company, seeks a senior transportation leader to drive analytics-powered logistics strategy across the United States. The role focuses on optimizing 3PL partnerships, routing, and fleet decisions to improve cost and service levels.

The position requires extensive experience in transportation analytics and collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Sales teams to deliver enterprise-wide improvements. Travel is expected, with salary disclosed below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling preferred.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including statistical analysis, regression modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills for presenting data to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives that oversee day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service optimization for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies, partnering across the broader transportation team.
• Design, implement, and maintain customer solutions that deliver mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular business calls to review strategies and performance.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer contract negotiations.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities through standardized processes and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the enterprise to inform decisions.
