Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Transportation Leader to guide a team of executives responsible for inbound/outbound lanes and 3PL partnerships. You will drive cost modeling, routing optimization, and strategic carrier decisions while collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Sales to maximize value.

The role requires a strong analytical background, excellent communication, and a track record in design and deployment of logistics solutions across complex networks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong foundational knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, and warehousing operations.
• Proficient in Power BI and Tableau.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Travel expectations: 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives that oversee day-to-day operations.
• Identify and assess opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service optimization for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies in collaboration with the broader team.
• Design, implement, and maintain customer solutions delivering mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular business calls to review strategies and performance.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer contract negotiations.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities through standardized processes.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to inform decisions.
• Translate transportation analytics and network modeling into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible within warehousing capabilities.
