Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior transportation analytics leader to drive efficiency across inbound and outbound lanes for the 3PL network. You will mentor a team of transportation executives, optimize routing and carrier strategies, and design customer solutions that reduce cost-to-serve while improving service levels.

The role collaborates with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and the 3PL team to deliver data-driven decisions and enterprise-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling preferred.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for presenting complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the transportation team.
• Design and maintain customer logistics solutions delivering mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analysis to support decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular business calls and reviews.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, and carriers.
