Description

This role involves extensive project management duties, including standardizing workflows for processes and procedures, extracting and evaluating data, and managing ASR processing and orders with TELCO vendors across the footprint. Responsibilities include creating assignments, building pathways, and coordinating with internal and external teams through project completion.

This position is a hybrid between the transport team and equipment engineers, supporting RFDS review, cross-referencing with work orders, and uploading/communicating via Zing—a workflow tool similar to Fulcrum that allows for pictures and descriptions. The role involves high volume, detailed work.

On the technical side, the role may include tasks such as:

Job Duties:

• Managing transport engineering projects with experience in project management, problem solving, and organization.
• Developing monthly interconnect implementation plans supporting various build targets like macro, in-building, small cell, and 5G technologies.
• Creating, designing, and issuing CIQs, engineering new cells, trunks, circuits, and managing circuit orders and carrier additions.
• Understanding Verizon Telecom products such as Native Ethernet, VZON, TLS, and Dark Fiber, along with Verizon’s IOF and OSP provisioning processes.
• Placing circuit orders, documenting transport circuits, tracking order statuses, and escalating issues as needed.
• Planning and implementing transport technologies to support 5G rollout.
• Participating in project meetings, managing vendors, collaborating with engineers, and developing data trackers to improve workflow.
• Ensuring equipment growth aligns with forecasted demands.

Pay and Benefits:

Hourly rate: $45.00 - $65.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, PTO, and more.
