Job summary

Continuing Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Transport Driver to safely move residents to outings, appointments, and other activities. You will uphold a positive, patient-centered approach and maintain a clean driving record to ensure resident safety and comfort.

We value teamwork and dedication; the role may require prior long-term care exposure. An STNA certification is preferred in Ohio, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving record.
• Prior experience working with elderly in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• STNA certification in Ohio is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to outings, doctor appointments and other destinations as needed.
• Assist residents getting in and out of vehicles as required.
• Maintain a safe and courteous drive.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Experience and Skills

The Transportation Driver is responsible for transportingresidents on outings, to doctor appointments and other destinationsas needed. We are seeking dependable and responsible individualswith an outstanding driving record and ability to assist residentsto and from the vehicle. Prefer candidates with previous experiencein working with the elderly in a long term care environment. Astrong preference is given to those who have a valid STNAcertification in the State of Ohio, but it is not required.
