Job summary

Highlands Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio is seeking a Transportation Aide/Driver to join our team. You will operate a community vehicle to transport residents and staff and assist with entering and exiting the vehicle.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, keeping mileage logs, coordinating with supervisors, accompanying residents to doctor appointments, and following our Motor Vehicle Safety Program. Competitive starting salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Operates community vehicle to transport residents and staff.
• Assists passengers entering and exiting vehicle in accordance with regulations.
• Maintains community vehicles according to manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
• Maintains mileage log as assigned.
• Reports all incidents, accidents, necessary repairs or malfunctions to Supervisor.
• Coordinates with supervisor daily for schedule or resident appointments.
• Accompanies staff to resident doctor appointments, staying with resident until return to campus.
• Complies with the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
• Responds to resident transportation requests by reporting to immediate supervisor.

Transportation Aide/Driver Responsibilities

• Operates community vehicle to transport residents and/or staff and assigned errands.
• Assists passengers in entering and exiting vehicle in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Maintains community vehicles according to the manufacturer’s specified calendar of scheduled maintenance.
• Maintains mileage log as assigned.
• Reports all incidents, accidents, necessary repairs or malfunctions immediately to Supervisor.
• Coordinates with supervisor daily for schedule or resident appointments.
• Accompanies staff to resident doctor appointments staying with resident, until return to campus.
• Complies with the Company’s Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
• Responds to resident requests for transportation by reporting requests to immediate supervisor.
