Job summary

United Exports is seeking a highly organized Transport Coordinator to own end-to-end transport from the warehouse to customers across North America.

You will manage transport providers, optimize freight costs, and ensure exceptional delivery performance, contributing to stronger margins for our growers. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Commerce/Logistics and at least 3 years in supply chain with ERP experience and strong MS Office skills.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end transport coordination, ensuring seamless delivery from warehouse to customer across North America.

You’ll play a critical role in managing transport providers, optimizing freight costs, and ensuring exceptional service delivery—ultimately contributing to stronger margins and superior returns for our growers.

This position is open for people located in Florida or New Jersey and Philadelphia area.

Key Performance Outputs

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Coordinate “final mile” logistics for customer deliveries
• Ensure on-time delivery performance across all shipments
• Oversee freight costs, quotations, and vendor performance
• Monitor freight market trends and rate fluctuations
• Act as the primary liaison with transport service providers
• Support annual freight budgeting and performance reviews
• Maintain compliance with audit procedures and logistics standards

Sales & Operations Support

• Assist with customer quotes and cost calculations
• Provide timely updates on purchase orders and deliveries
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and planning teams
• Ensure alignment with customer delivery requirements Share insights and operational updates with stakeholders

Vendor & Compliance Management

• Manage vendor agreements and ensure stakeholder alignment
• Validate invoices and ensure compliance with contractual terms
• Maintain strong, reliable vendor relationships

Grower Focus

• Support initiatives to maximize returns for growers
• Communicate relevant logistics and cost insights
• Ensure transparency between logistics, sales, and growers

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Administration, or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics

Technical Skills

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of routing and tracking software
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities
