Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations.
• Knowledge of freight, shipping methods, and regulations.
• Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure on-time performance.
• Track and monitor shipments to proactively address delays or issues.
• Prepare and maintain transportation documents (BOLs, PODs, invoices, etc.).
• Negotiate with carriers and build relationships with vendors and partners.
• Optimize routes and loads to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, and resolve service issues.
• Maintain accurate records in TMS (Transportation Management System).
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Support the operations team with reporting, analysis, and continuous process improvements.
