Albany Medical Center in New York seeks a board-certified or eligible Transplant Nephrologist to join a growing abdominal transplant program. The role blends transplant nephrology with general nephrology, in an academic setting at Albany Medical College.

The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in transplant nephrology, NY licensure eligibility, and an interest in program growth, education, and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
• Fellowship training in Transplant Nephrology from an accredited program.
• Eligible for New York medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient transplant care and multidisciplinary transplant rounds.
• Outpatient transplant clinics including pre- and post-transplant evaluations.
• Immunosuppression management and graft function assessment.
• Shared coverage of transplant-related inpatient consults and call.
• Collaboration with transplant surgery and multispecialty teams.
