Lifebanc is seeking a Transplant Coordinator I in Cleveland, OH. The role supports donor evaluation, medical management, organ placement and recovery in line with CMS and AOPO standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospital teams, managing donor care in Lifebanc facilities, and ensuring accurate donor information is communicated. RN or RT credentials with critical care experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN license and/or RT license with critical care experience.
• OPO experience or completion of Lifebanc’s Transplant Coordinator Track/master’s in Transplantation.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per AHA.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate organ referrals and determine donor suitability per UNOS, CMS and AOPO standards.
• Provide 24/7 coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with FSC and HSC to approach the next of kin for donation.
• Coordinate donor medical management and organ placement.
• Review EMR to determine donation eligibility and suitability.
• Manage logistics for donor recovery teams and transportation.
