Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Donor Procurement Coordinator for the Transplant Center at the Main Campus Hospital. This remote role coordinates organ offers, procurement logistics, and data entry to support transplant teams, with 12‑hour day/night rotations.

Candidates must reside in Northeast Ohio and have a science degree or nursing/paramedic background; licensed RN/RT/EMT-P preferred; prior organ procurement experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field or Nursing/Respiratory Therapy/Paramedic program.
• One year of experience as an organ procurement coordinator or clinical experience in critical care or organ procurement/transplant.
• Maintain valid licenses and required certificates (RN, RT or EMT-P).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to receipt of organ offers for transplant and evaluation of organ offers for suitability.
• Procure organs and arrange transplant set-ups and coordinate air or ground transportation.
• Serve as a resource for organ recovery and preservation.
• Assist in training organ preservation caregivers.
• Orient residents and fellows to renal procurement and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present professional education programs as needed.
• Abstract and enter data into the transplant database.
• AttendSelection committee meetings and maintain licensure/certificates.
