Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled mainline technician to service vehicles and diagnose issues with engines and electrical components.

Role requires 2+ years of experience in a professional dealership or service center, own tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently. Ford experience is preferred and compensation is based on a flat rate hourly pay scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center.
• Ford experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and continuously improve technical skills.
• Own complete and up-to-date set of tools; valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and recommend repairs.
• Work with the team to achieve dealership and manufacturer goals.
• Repair or replace faulty parts while maintaining productivity goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance

• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed

• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks

• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals

What You Need:

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required

• Ford experience preferred

• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills

• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools

• You must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
