Job summary

Schomp Ford in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced automotive technician to service vehicles and diagnose mechanical issues. This role requires maintaining a complete toolset and working with limited supervision to meet productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center preferred.
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills.
• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance.
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed.
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks.
• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals.
