Ford Motor Company in Livonia, MI is seeking a PD engineer to own the integration of the 10-speed RWD transmission into vehicle spaces and to drive DV/PV strategies. You will lead testing, ensure quality, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to meet milestones.

The role requires a self-starter with CAD experience and strong problem-solving abilities, plus a collaborative mindset for cross-functional work with suppliers and plant teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required.
• 1 year of automotive transmission or powertrain experience.
• 1 year of CAD experience.
• Master's degree in engineering or similar degree is a plus.
• Vehicle repair or vehicle diagnostics background is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a PD engineer for 10 speed RWD integration into vehicle spaces.
• Own DV and PV strategies to deliver best-in-class powertrain system.
• Collaborate to improve part quality and customer experience.
• Deliver transmission system level assessments and evidence for GPDS milestones.
• Lead life tests and dyno testing requirements and system signoff.
