Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an entry-level engineer to design and evaluate transmission facility additions and modifications, applying engineering principles to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective line designs.

The role requires ABET-accredited Civil or Mechanical Engineering studies, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and graduation in Fall 2028 or 2029. Candidates should be able to work effectively in a team and communicate across departments, with AutoCAD experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil or Mechanical Engineering program.
• GPA 3.0 or above required.
• Graduation date Fall 2028 or 2029.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed design for high voltage transmission line projects including new lines and modifications.
• Provide field support for construction activities related to transmission line projects.
• Interface with Project Management, Construction, Supply Chain, Permitting, Real Estate, Right of Way Administration, and Transmission O&M.
