Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an Engineer-level professional for challenging projects in the power generation sector. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute major portions of complex projects to meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.

The role covers controls, reliability, and lifecycle strategies across gas turbine fleets, with opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship. A hybrid 3-2 work schedule applies, supporting flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience (Engineer level) or 5+ years (Senior Engineer) or 8+ years (Staff Engineer).
• Bachelor’s in Engineering required; ABET accreditation or equivalent recognized credential may apply.
• Ability to apply engineering principles, planning, and project management to complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support stations during gas turbine trips and operational events.
• Coordinate with controls engineers to review outage work and provide on-site technical leadership.
• Develop scopes of work for controls projects and present technical findings.
