Job summary

Talent Wave Associates is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to lead high-impact transmission electric system capital improvement projects. You will assemble cross-functional teams, drive projects from initiation to completion, ensure on-time delivery, scope adherence, and controlled budgets.

The role requires coordinating schedules, tracking milestones, and communicating risks to leadership while staying within cost constraints.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Experience in project management for electric utility construction a must.
Certification such as PMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple concurrent transmission electric system capital improvement projects.
Assemble and coordinate cross-functional project teams for high-priority projects.
Lead project teams to complete projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop detailed baseline project schedules with critical paths and milestones.
Update construction dates monthly and monitor progress for at-risk activities.
Facilitate project meetings and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
Manage costs with monthly cash flow projections and variance analysis.
Review quotes, issue POs, and approve change orders and invoices.
Communicate status and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
