Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Project Coordinator to join our experienced team that delivers high-level engineering design services for our clients.

This role supports project controls to drive growth in the power delivery and transmission service groups, collaborating with project managers, finance, engineering, and subconsultants. This position focuses on developing and maintaining project control systems across cost, schedule, risk, reporting, and document

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
• Understanding of cost forecasting, scheduling logic, and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across teams.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established project systems including Vantagepoint, PowerBI, IronClad, and Avetta.
• Support AR collections and electronic invoicing.
• Support the development, monitoring and maintaining of budgets and forecasts, including tracking actual vs. planned spend.
• Support the development, monitoring and maintaining of project schedules, including tracking actual vs. planned progress.
• Develop consolidated monthly/weekly project reports.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, documents, and version control.
• Ensure project controls standards, templates, and processes are followed and support project managers in reviews of this compliance.
• Support client meetings through development of minutes and action item notes.
• Support the management of subconsultants with onboarding, progress, risk management, and compliance with Westwood requirements.
• Collaborate to develop, evaluate, and implement new policies reflecting best engineering practices.
