Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems, including energized and de-energized lines. You may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman.

The role demands climbing structures, operating heavy equipment, and strict safety adherence. Three years of transmission line experience and a valid CDL are required, with willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work out-of-state assignments and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging procedures and testing with proper PPE and equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment and work near energized equipment.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
