WSP USA in Meridian, ID is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program starting May 17, 2027. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects and gain hands-on experience through our Developing Professionals Network.

The role focuses on technical design, analysis, route evaluation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with mentorship, safety training, and opportunities to participate in engineering reports and site validations.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in accredited Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical Engineering program with graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Transmission Line Engineering and desire to develop skills on WSP projects.
• Authorization to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsabilités

• Assist with PLSCADD modeling for line layout and structure analysis.
• Assist with design calculations for structures, foundations, conductors.
• Prepare plan and profile drawings, loading trees, material lists, and construction packages.
• Support QA/QC processes for drawings and calculations.
