Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Truck Driver to support transmission system construction, maintenance and repair. The role involves travel to various sites and may require work in different states based on customer needs.

You will perform hands-on tasks in outdoor environments and operate equipment as needed. Ideal candidates are physically able, hold a CDL, and are prepared for overtime, weekend work and exposure to demanding weather.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL and be able to operate heavy equipment.
• Capable of performing rigorous physical labor and climbing or working at heights.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair on energized/de-energized transmission systems.
• String overhead wire and set poles/anchors.
• Assist with installing transformers, crossarms and switches.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits; work near high voltage safely.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools; follow safety rules.
