Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, or similar CAD tools.
- Understanding of design codes such as NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IBC.
Responsibilities
- Support overhead transmission line design including PLS-CADD modeling and line routing.
- Perform structure analysis and loading trees, sag-tension calculations, and pole loading assessments.
- Prepare joint utility use authorizations based on field data and engineer redlines.
- Utilize CAD software to produce scaled drawings and drafting with precision.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and construction standards.
