Travel up to 10% is expected. The position offers 40-hour weeks with potential for up to 50 hours and overtime, focusing on safe, reliable, and efficient

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical field
• Knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ArcGIS
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

• Support overhead transmission line design including PLS-CADD modeling and line routing
• Use AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS for scaled drawings and mapping
• Implement engineering redlines with precision before drafting/drawing finalize
• Conduct calculations such as voltage drop, pole loading, and tension checks
• Prepare joint utility use authorizations based on field data and redlines
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes (NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IBC)
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop solutions and modifications
• Maintain detailed project documentation and support calculations
• Work 40 hours per week, up to 50 hours with possible overtime

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
