Job description

Transmission Calibration Engineer (ETAS INCA)

The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will be responsible for playing an integral part in developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy.

Key activities include but are not limited to:

1. Developing, verifying, and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications.
2. Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities.
3. Coordinating activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets.
4. Working with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools, and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives.
5. Managing transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
2. Prior Automotive Experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable).
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
