Job summary

AEP Service Corporation's Transmission Field Services team seeks an Asset Analyst to ensure real-time data accuracy for transmission assets. You’ll work with field teams to review prints, update IPS asset attributes, and support commissioning checklists.

Under Associate level, you’ll monitor DSTrack, audit IPS data, and prepare reports in PowerBI, contributing to data integrity and operational efficiency across capital projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant engineering field with utility experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Visio and Outlook; data entry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review project prints at the start of a capital project to gather asset data.
• Review drawings with field changes and document in IPS.
• Monitor print platform (DSTrack) and overdue records.
• Populate IPS with asset attributes from drawings and project scopes.
• Support asset entry lifecycle management in IPS and data accuracy checks.
• Coordinate commissioning checklists for substation projects.
• Produce PowerBI reports for field teams on overdue actions and metrics.
