Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) in Texas is seeking an entry-level Data/Asset Coordination role to ensure TFS data is accurate in real time. You will collaborate with field teams and Energy Delivery staff, gathering and entering data while applying basic technical skills to analyze information for quality and completeness.

Under supervision, you’ll review prints, assist asset attribute updates in IPS, manage data lifecycles, monitor DSTrack, and contribute to commissioning checklists and process

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years data/record management experience.
• Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, and Outlook; strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Review capital project prints and extract asset data for commissioning.
• Update IPS with asset attributes and commissioning actions.
• Monitor DSTrack and follow up on overdue records.
• Support IPS data-entry lifecycle and asset status updates.
• Prepare PowerBI reports on overdue actions.
