Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Immunology, Transplantation Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment, research methodologies, and experimental protocols related to immunology and transplantation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex research data, including large datasets.
  • Extensive expertise in the generation, maintenance, and analysis of human immune system (HIS) mouse models.
  • Experience performing laboratory procedures and surgical techniques in mice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead bench-based research and perform data analysis.
  • Prepare progress reports and manuscripts.
  • Contribute to studies of transplant tolerance in preclinical humanized mouse models and humans.
  • Dedicate 100% effort to research activities within the Sykes Laboratory.
