Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Immunology, Transplantation Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment, research methodologies, and experimental protocols related to immunology and transplantation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex research data, including large datasets.
• Extensive expertise in the generation, maintenance, and analysis of human immune system (HIS) mouse models.
• Experience performing laboratory procedures and surgical techniques in mice.

Responsibilities

• Lead bench-based research and conduct experiments related to immune tolerance and transplantation.
• Analyze data and interpret results; present findings.
• Prepare progress reports and manuscripts for publication.
• Contribute to studies of transplant tolerance in humanized mouse models and clinical trials.
• Work 100% time in Sykes Laboratory.
